Time - Thursday (term time only) 1.45 - 3.30pm
We meet every Thursday in term time between 1.45 and 3.30 in the Community room of Broadwater school. We began by opening to members of the school community and have a mix of parents/carers and school staff dropping in, or staying for the whole session. Our meeting room is accessible for those with mobility problems and we now feel ready to welcome members of the wider community who wish to join us.
We aren't working on any communal projects at the moment but those with more experience are showing those with little or none how to knit, crochet and do basic embroidery stitches.
For many in the group, English is not the first language so communication is assisted by practical examples, but the group is also an opportunity to learn and practice English.

It is important to contact Penny first so that she can inform the receptionist as security at a school needs to be observed.
